| Specificity | The antibody localizes the high molecular weight form of caldesmon in chicken or turkey gizzard and the low molecular weight form of caldesmon in chicken fibroblasts by immunoblotting. The antibody detects epitopes located on the non-calmodulin-binding part of caldesmon, more specifically, the central region of the molecule. |
